About Kelseyville Riviera

Kelseyville Riviera Community Association - Homeowners Association for the Riviera - Point Lakeview to Highway 29 and either side East and West.

Meet your Board of Directors:

Moses Valdez - President: After my short experience on the Board, I have come to the conclusion that I am the mediator of NOT spending monies frivolously. I look at spending as though it were coming out of  my own pocket. For instance, would I raise our dues without good cause and good reasoning? NO!  I realize that there ae many issues coming up that the Board will have to address. As president or Board member, I will adhere to our rules but, try to make adjustments if possible, if necessary. As a member since 1985 and a permanent resident since 2009, I have seen and experienced both the positive and the negative of this Association. Recently our board changed our policy as to how we notify members if in violation of our fires codes. Hopefully, the new pamphlet will at least indicate, what you are being cited for in detail and what you have not; clearer message.

I would lie to make one thing clear about my goals and contributions. I am here to promote good and sensible decisions. I am not here to administer grandiose ideas. All I want is to make our community palatable for all. To live within our means and our rules (that we all signed when buying our properties) and not make things up to satisfy the few. I will always be open to suggestions and ideas.

Hildegard Krause -Vice President: Assist HOA in efforts for a peaceful neighborhood. To help the members of the community to understand the importance of complying with the CCR’s- signed at time of property purchase. Helping members to understand the importance of keeping properties (structures and empty lots) clan. Firesafe. Firesafe, in compliance with the applicable codes and recommendations of the county/state authorities and HOA. Trying to convey to the community that the HOA actions are in the best interest of the members, but member cooperation is needed.

Chris Weston - Treasurer: Promote transparency at the KRCA. Oppose HOA funds for any religious or political organizations. Continue funding for KRCA members to get season passes for swimming pool use at low cost.  Aim to reduce the HOA annual dues, if possible. Ensure consistent & fair fire safety regulations. Support renaming this HOA as Konocti Riviera Community Association. Develop policies to increase KRCA property values. Promote activities to improve KRCA Community pride. Include non-resident perspectives at the HOA. Improve safety, security, and environmental awareness.

Samantha Carter - Director: A feeling of accomplishment in helping the people in our community. Help with issues big or small. To be a part of the growth of our community in a positive manner. I like and welcome all ideas and input from all in our community, looking for help or solutions to issues. I also look forward to helping our youth out in our community- so that they can take pride in our community, from a positive aspect and see great results when we work together-for the good of our community.

Emily Finch - Secretary: Biography information to be submitted at a later date
